1953 apprenticed at Hussein Agha’s traditional school, Hamadan
1954 attends Baba Tahir primary school, Hamadan
1956 leaves Hamadan for Tehran
1959 finishes primary school

1968 meets master calligrapher Seyyed Hassan Mirkhani (Seräi at-Kottäb) for the first time
